Ketanserin significantly inhibits LP-macrophage chemotaxis, but not phagocytosis. LP-macrophages were isolated from mice with dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis treated or not with ketanserin on day 7. Migration of LP-macrophages induced by CXCL12 was assessed using a microchemotaxis chamber. (A) Sample images of cells that had migrated through the polycarbonate filter following incubation for 4 h with medium (upper panel) and CXCL12 (lower panel). (B) Chemotaxis index was calculated as the ratio of the number of cells that tad migrated toward the stimuli over those that had migrated toward the medium.
