Female BALB/c mice (n = 10) were challenged with 2×109 CFUs of USA300 (A) or 4×109 CFUs of ST239 (B) by intraperitoneal injection. Mice were treated intraperitoneally with a single dose (at 5, 15 or 25 mg/kg) of 2H7 or isotype control mAb (15 mg/kg) 24 h before infection.
