Main fMRI effects of Group. In the Group × Stroop × Frequency ANOVA two main effects of Group were found. Left primary motor cortex (peak coordinate: [− 34, − 22, 62], Z-score = 4.72) was found to yield greater responses in KS compared to Controls (C) whereas a region in the left inferior occiptotemporal region (peak coordinate: [− 48, − 68, − 14], Z-score = 4.67) displayed greater responses in Controls than in KS.
