Individual subdomains are labeled with roman numerals. The N-terminal segment (blue) of the peptide chain participates in the formation of subdomains I, II and III, and a middle segment (yellow) participates in the formation of subdomains II and III. Subdomains IV, V and VI are comprised of contiguous sections of the peptide chain and are colored cyan, green and orange, respectively.
