The microbiota composition of healthy mice (CTRL), colitic mice (DSS), colitic geraniol orally treated mice [Ge-OH 30 mg kg⁽⁻¹⁾, 120 mg kg⁽⁻¹⁾], and colitic geraniol enema-treated mice [120 mg kg⁽⁻¹⁾] is shown. Other Bacteriodetes and Firmicutes families that are not are listed separately have been combined into a single group. The microbiota composition of the mice group treated with Ge-OH-free oral suspension or Ge-OH-free enema suspension showed no differences from those of the healthy mice group.
