Alterations in the fluorescence for Rh123 were expressed as index of variation (IV) calculated as IV = (Gm_t—Gm_c)/Gm_c, where Gm_t and Gm_c corresponded to the geometric mean of histograms obtained for treated and untreated (control) cells. Trifluoremethoxy carbonyl cyanide phenyl hydrazone (FCCP) was used as positive control.
