CVB3-infected male mice received male- or female-derived M-MDSCs on day 3. (A) At day 7, the percentage of CD4+ T cells secreting IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-17 or IL-10 and the percentage of Treg cells in recipient mice were analyzed by flow cytometry. (B) Fold change in the percentage of T cell subsets in male recipient compared with those in mice receiving no transfer. (C) Absolute number of Treg and IL-10+CD4+ T cells in the hearts. Data were collected from the pool of 8–10 mice for each group. Individual experiment was conducted 3 times with similar results, and the representative data were shown. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001.
