Assessment of the immune response induced in vitro. (A, B; left) Determination of T cells proliferation using ³H-Thymidine incorporation assay. BM-DCs were incubated with OVA, SIN, MWNTs-OVA, or MWNTs-SIN, each at 5 μg/ml OVA, 0.5 or 1 μg/ml SIN for 24 h. Incubated BM-DCs were harvested, irradiated then co-cultured with CD4⁺ or CD8⁺ T cells at 1:4 ratio for 3 days. CD8⁺ and CD4⁺ T cells proliferation was assessed with ³H-thymidine incorporation assay.
