Nitrite production was determined in the culture supernatant at 570 nm. Cells were preincubated 30 min with vehicle, 10 μM NO₂-AA, 10 μM AA or 1 mM L-NAME and then exposed to 0.1 μM ANG II for 3 h, and ⋅NO formation analyzed as explained in Materials and Method section. *, # express significant differences respect to control and ANG II-treated cells, respectively (p<0.05).
