(a) Binding kinetics of myoglobin on a functionalized PC-TIR sensor surface. Before detection, a detection baseline is first recorded by making PBS flow through a microchannel on the sensor surface (I). Stages II–VI show the results of binding assays of myoglobin with concentrations of  70, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 ng/mL, respectively. The remaining captured myoglobin on the sensor surface after washing with PBS is then recorded as Stages IIWVI W. (b).
