To perform safer surgery, the operator needs to manipulate the forceps to raise the vascular sheath above the scissors, avoiding the tips touching. This creates a more 3 dimensional view, prevents the possibility of damage, and provides an easier line of sight
To use autosutures more safely, more mobilization on the peripheral side is needed when dissecting vessels and the bronchus than c-VATS
The insertion and extraction of the thoracoscope and positioning of instruments and the scope at the operative field need to be performed gently
