In each reaction, radiolabelled capped RNA was incubated at 30 °C for 2 h with FluPolC and the indicated strands of the vRNA promoter. b, Quantification of cleavage, expressed as the percentage of cleaved to total RNA, from three replicates of this assay, performed with the same polymerase preparation.
