All doses are calculated at 14.9 keV (just above the Hg L I edge) using the I24 beam parameters given in Table 1 ▸ (beam size 10 × 10 µm, 1.5 × 1012 photons s−1). Changes as a function of energy are illustrated in Fig. 1 ▸. Time to I 95 is the estimated time taken reduce the diffracting power by 5% based on the assumption that an absorbed dose of 43 MGy reduces the diffracting power by 50% (Owen et al., 2006 ▸).
