B6 mice were subconjunctivally injected with mTREM-1/IgG fusion protein (1 μg per cornea), soluble β-glucan antagonist laminarin (1 μg per cornea) or both into the right eyes before Aspergillus fumigatus infection, followed with administration with the same dosage on each day p.i.. Images of fungus-infected corneas (A) were acquired by slit-lamp photography and corneal scores (B) were recorded at 1, 3 and 5 days p.i.
