PKD1 knockdown prevents PMA-induced phosphorylation of AMPK Ser485/491 in C2C12 myotubes. C2C12 myotubes were transfected with scrambled or PKD1 siRNA. 48 h later, they were treated with PMA (50 nm, 30min). Cells were lysed, and protein expression and phosphorylation were analyzed by Western blot. Representative Western blots (A) and their densitometric analyses (B) are shown. Results are means ± S.E.
