Fig. 5 — Geraniol production under fed-batch fermentation with biotransformation of geranyl acetate to geraniol. Accumulation of total geranoids (filled circle) including geraniol (filled square), nerol (circle), and geranyl acetate (square). Induction was carried out when OD₆₀₀ reached about 20 using 0.5 mM IPTG. Isopropyl myristate was added 4 h after IPTG induction according to one over ten of the fermentation medium volume, and glucose addition was stopped after 48 h of culture. Results are the mean of three replicates with error bars representing the standard deviation
