A375SM cells (5×10³ cells/ml) suspended in serum-free medium supplemented with hrRNASET2 (2.5, 1.0 or 0.5 μM) or PBS< were seeded in the upper compartment of BioCoat™ Matrigel Invasion Chambers. The lower compartment contained NIH 3T3 fibroblast-conditioned medium, which served as a chemoattractant. Following incutation (37°C, 24 h), the membranes were stained with Diff-Quick solution and cells were counted under a microscope (x10 magnification). The data are expressed as the average number of cells counted in 10 fields in each of the three experiments ± SD.
