OsYchF1-G4′ could not bind to ATP. Mant-GTP binding affinities of the GST-OsYchF1-G4′ fusion protein was examined by monitoring the emission of fluorescent signals (diamonds). The increases in fluorescence signals were eliminated when challenged with 1-fold unlabeled GTP (triangles) and 10-fold unlabeled GTP (crosses), but not 10-fold unlabeled ATP (circles). Unbound Mant-GTP gave minimal signals (squares).
