The panels tested are not identical: In the adult group, blood samples were analyzed for specific IgE antibodies to 50 widespread single allergens, and two tests performed, each using a mixture of inhalant allergens (SX1) and grass pollen (GX1). In the child/adolescent group, blood samples were analyzed for specific IgE antibodies to 20 single allergens and tests performed with a mixture of inhalant allergens (SX1).
