The upper panel (A) shows representative traces of original electrocardiogram and right atrial (RA) electrograms after burst/tachypacing. This demonstrates rapid irregular atrial activations with varying electrogram morphology following MI, with T3 treatment preventing the effect. Importantly, the (B) incidence of ATA that persisted following discontinuation of experimental atrial burst/tachypacing was significantly diminished by 88% subsequent to T3 treatment post-MI.
