SHP‐1 inhibition with sodium stibogluconate increased insulin receptor phosphorylation. AML12 cells were treated with or without sodium stibogluconate followed by insulin stimulation [3 nm] for immunoblotting. Site‐specific phosphorylation levels of the insulin receptor and insulin signalling downstream kinases Akt and Erk were analysed.
