The transgenic Arabidopsis seedlings expressing GFP-tagged NHX5 or NHX6 were generated in our previous study (Wang et al., 2015). Anti-GFP monoclonal antibody was added to the plant lysate to precipitate NHX5-GFP or NHX6-GFP and their binding proteins. Coimmuoprecipitation of the SNARE proteins was analyzed with immunoblot with antibodies against SYP22, VTI11, or SYP51.
