Hypobaric hypoxia (HH) exposure increases right ventricular (RV) myocyte size in both wild-type (WT) and interleukin (IL)-18 knockout (KO) mice compared with control (CO), with a moderate increase in cell size in WT mice compared with KO. RV sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E), and cell size was measured in the circumferential plane.
