The repeated dosing model shows similar increases in markers of endoplasmic reticulum stress but not cell death markers compared with the standard dosing model. Eight-week-old male FVB mice were injected (intraperitoneally) with saline vehicle (V) or 25 mg/kg cisplatin given once (standard model) or with cisplatin (7 mg/kg) once a week for 4 wk (repeated dosing model). Animals were euthanized 72 h after the last injection.
