Effect of IL-1β on ROS generation. Dihydroethidium (DHE) staining was used to detect ROS generation in the aorta. A: aortas from NT mice were pretreated with or without apocynin (0.3 mM) for 1 h before IL-1β (500 pg/ml, 24 h) or control treatments (n = 6).
