Nucleosomes in S. cerevisiae were ranked from small to large values by rotational fuzziness, translational fuzziness and nucleosome occupancy, respectively. The average mono-nucleotide spectral envelope of nucleosomal sequences within each quintile was then plotted, where the first quintile contains nucleosomes with the smallest rotational fuzziness, translational fuzziness and nucleosome occupancy, respectively.
