^aAbility to use the Internet was assigned based on a “Yes” answer to the question “Can you use the Internet to get information from websites or to communicate with others?” Most senior Internet users were able go online on their own, but some indicated needing help or someone to go online for them. Ability to use email was assigned using the same type of question and responses. Cell percentages are based on weighted data for everyone in that age or race/ethnic group. Because percentages are based on responses to different questions, unweighted cell Ns vary. Most cell Ns can be ascertained from earlier tables, and they are also provided in Multimedia Appendix 4.
