Messenger RNA expression of macrophage polarization‐associated genes in the wild‐type (WT) and interleukin‐17A‐deficient (IL‐17A−/−) mouse model of retinopathy of prematurity. To investigate the effect of IL‐17A blockade on macrophage polarization, M1‐ and M2‐associated cytokines were analysed at P15 and P17. Relative gene expressions were analysed using the ΔΔCT method and endogenously normalized to cyclophilin A. Statistical analysis were followed with the Student's t‐test (n = 12 mice/group).
