Quantification of transcription from the plus-strand and the minus-strand of the HTLV-1 provirus. Expression of tax and HBZ was quantified by qRT-PCR using standard plasmid DNA to calculate the copy number of the transcripts. The copy numbers of each transcript per 108 molecules of 18S rRNA are shown as means of triplicate values. A representative result from two independent experiments is shown.
