tdTomato+ cells were collected from D1R::tdTomato BAC transgenic mice and used to analyze histone occupancy at gene promoters. (A) There was a significant increase in H3K18ac levels relative to H3K27me3 at the D1R promoter. (B) There was a significant increase in H3K27me3 levels relative to H3K18ac levels at the repressed retrotransposable element LINE1. (C) There was no difference between H3K18ac and H3K27me3 at the GFAP promoter. Data presented as mean +/− SEM. n = 6–8/group, **p < 0.01.
