RAR agonists induce SCX nuclear localization in human TSCs ad. The effect was observed in a dose–response manner and EC50 curves could be generated from a SCX nuclear localization algorithm looking at nuclear translocation and corresponding cell counts for different RAR agonists (tazarotene, CD1530, retinoic acid) and an antagonist (CD2665) e, f. Co-treatment with the RARγ antagonist CD2665 (1 μM) was able to induce a shift in the tazarotene EC50 curve g.
