Dexmedetomedine (DEX) inhibited voltage-gated L-type calcium current (ICa-L) in rat ventricular myocytes. (A) Traces of ICa-L evoked in the absence and presence of DEX. Current was elicited by depolarization from a holding potential of -40 mV to +60 mV. (B) Effect on ICa,L by 10 ng/ml DEX and 1 μM yohimbine.
