Example post-stress (A) and rest (B) functional 3D (left and middle rows) and quantitative (right row) images by Tl-201 gated SPECT from the same patient in Figure 2. Stress-induced worsening of regional wall motion (reversible RWA) was observed in septum and inferior walls. The ejection fraction (EF) of post-stress and rest were 55% and 70%, respectively (worsening EF). Unstable angina developed subsequently and invasive coronary angiography showed triple-vessel disease. The patient was sent for coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
