Comparison of structures of the substrate binding loops from M. tuberculosis InhA and E. coli FabI (PDB ID:1QSG). I215 and V203 in InhA may have comparable residues in other FabI enzymes, with the potential for steric clash modulated by rationally designed inhibitors.
