Activity was measured at pH 4 with 25–30 μg LB protein (incubation time 4 h) by incorporation of 14C-palmitoyl CoA into DPPC in the presence or absence of LPC (150 μM). MJ33 was at 3 mol%; CI-976 was at 100 μM. Values are mean ± SE for n = 8 for wild-type −LPC, n = 6 for wild-type +LPC, and n = 3 for all other conditions.
