ELISA of type I and type III IFNs in BEAS-2B cells infected with PIV-3. BEAS-2B cells were infected with dolphin (T), bovine (B), or human (H) PIV-3 for 6, 12, 24, or 48 h. Cells treated with 20 μg/ml poly(I·C) and 0.6% Lipofectamine 3000 for 10 min were used as a positive control (+). ELISAs were conducted on the supernatants to measure human IFN-β (hIFN-β) and IL-29 (hIL-29).
