(1) Search partial sequences for germline J gene signature. Sequences with no J gene found are put to a separate file. (2) Sequences with identified J gene are checked for germline V anchor DXXXYYC. (3) Counting from the anchor positions, sequences are compared to all germlines and minimally distant germline(s) is/are assigned. (4) Sequences without this anchor will be checked for second anchor YYC and similarly compared. (5) Sequences without any anchor sites are put to a separate file.
