Mice received fluorescein (i.v. via tail vein) at 3 h after NECA injection (n = 6 per group), and urine volume (A) and fluorescein concentration (B) were quantified 90 min later. A subset of mice also received cisplatin, a chemotherapy agent known to induce kidney injury, 3 d prior to the experiment. The bars represent means ± SEM. Significant differences are determined by Fisher’s LSD test. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001; n.s. indicates no significant difference.
