Impacts of YPR on NF-κB activity in renal tissues. (a) Compared with the WKY group, in the SHR group, IκB-α expression was significantly reduced and nuclear NF-κB/P65 expression level was significantly increased, while the IκB-α expression was not inhibited and nuclear NF-κB/P65 expression was not increased after the Bena and YPR were administered, indicating that YPR could inhibit the nuclear translocation of NF-κB/P65 and degradation of IκB-α. (b) IκB-α expression: compared with the WKY group P < 0.01; compared with the SHR group P < 0.01.
