Excitation scan of the Eu³⁺ transition, ²F₀→⁵D₀, centered at a wavelength of 578.80 nm. The concentration of europium is 10 μM, while junction is titrated in to reach the same concentration. Junction binding quenched the overall europium luminescence and produced a slight red-shift in the excitation peak to 579.00 nm.
