Enhancement Description
Normal Full visualization of the epiphyseal vascular canals and physis
Asymmetric Either the epiphyseal vascular canals or the physes had reduced intensity compared with the contralateral side or the overall signal intensity of the epiphyseal cartilage was reduced compared with the contralateral side
Focal decrease Clear area of decreased signal intensity within the epiphysis or the ossification center
Global decrease Absence of enhancement within the entire epiphysis, including the ossification center if present
