Chiasma interference refers to the distance between two chiasmata on a chromosomal arm. Centromere interference refers to the distance between the centromere and a chiasma. Multiple proximal corresponds to the most proximal component of multiple chiasmata. Data for the Rb and St populations are from Dumas and Britton-Davidian (2002).
