Overview of the Multiplex Blood Culture Test (MuxBCT) system design. The medical laboratory technician (MLT) will use the MuxBCT app for facilitation of the MuxBCT diagnostic test. The MLT can use a wireless barcode scanner to enter barcodes into the tablet app. Clinical microbiologists can access the MuxBCT results through the LIS.
