Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation rTMS application. (a) MEPs were evoked in the masseter muscle by stimulating the ‘hot spot', while teeth were slightly clenched. The AMT was detected. (b) The stimulus intensity of rTMS was set at 80% of the AMT and applied at 1 Hz for 20 min on one side with the jaw-closing muscles at rest.
