Survivin expression profiles in Y79-Luc (A) and CHLA-215-Luc (B) tumors growing in the vitreal cavity of mice. Mice were treated with carboplatin (CBDCA, 60 mg/kg) via IP injection on days 15 and 18 following transplantation, YM155 alone (2mg/kg) administered via IP injection for 5 consecutive days starting 14 days post transplantation, or the combination of CBDCA and YM155. Eyes were enucleated 24 hours following the last treatment, homogenized with a polytron in 1X cell lysis buffer, and analyzed for survivin expression by Western immunoblot and densitometry. Upper figure shows a representative Western immunoblot and lower figure provides quantitative densitometric values from all immunoblots.
