Fig. 3 — Actual and predicted monthly estimates (means + SE) of varroa mites on bees and infesting cells in honey bee colonies. Predicted values were generated from a varroa-honey bee population dynamics model initialized using actual starting colony and mite population sizes. The average number of mites per 100 bees was greater at site 1 than site 2 (F_1,24 = 6.14, p = 0.021)
