Differential expression of plastid-encoded genes in wild type and wp1s. mRNA enriched from total RNA isolated from 10-d-old seedlings of wild type and wp1s using Ribo-Zero rRNA Removal Kits (Plant Leaf) was fragmented and reverse-transcribed using random hexamer primers. The library was then constructed and sequenced using an Illumina HiSEquation 2000. The graph shows the log2 ratio of transcript levels in wp1s mutants compared with wild type.
