Insulin gene transcription in beta cells from NOD mice over time. Beta cells from NOD mice of different ages were sorted. Ins1 and Ins2 gene transcription was analysed by qRT-PCR and normalised to Actb mRNA levels (ΔCt=Actb−Ins1/2). Data show the mean ± SEM of three experiments, each with 4–5 mice.
