Mean NIRS muscle oxygenation during exercise with NAC and PLA. Mean deoxy‐[Hb + Mb] (A), oxy‐[Hb + Mb] (B), total‐[Hb + Mb] (C), and tissue oxygenation index (TOI) (D) for NAC (closed circles) and PLA (open circles) at rest and during exercise. There were no significant differences between NAC and PLA supplementation at rest or during exercise for any of the responses.
