(A) CD8⁺ T cells isolated from s.c.-immunized perforin KO mice were adoptively transferred (AT) (5 × 10⁶ CD8⁺ T cells/mouse) to IFN-γ KO (N = 8) mice. Mice were challenged with AC tumor injections on the same day that they received 2 donor equivalent of stimulated CD8⁺ T cells, and 2 rounds of adoptive cell transfers were performed (on the day of intraocular tumor injection and 12 d later). WT mice that did not receive CD8⁺ T cells from s.c.-immunized perforin KO mice served as controls (no AT; N = 8). (B) Percentage of mice from (A) that rejected their AC tumor. All mice developed intraocular tumors after AC challenge.
